Specialized Field Support for Optical and Subsea Infrastructure.
R&G brings hands-on field experience to optical transport networks and the shore-side facilities that support subsea connectivity. We work with operators, engineering teams and equipment vendors on defined installation, maintenance and turn-up activities.
Discuss Optical & Subsea SupportDWDM Provisioning & Turn-Up Support
Support for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems, including on-site installation assistance, physical connectivity checks, customer-directed circuit provisioning, testing and turn-up activities. Our role is to execute and support the agreed field tasks while your technical team retains network configuration authority and service acceptance.
SLTE Installation & Field Support
On-site assistance for Submarine Line Terminal Equipment (SLTE), including equipment installation, power and signal connections, commissioning assistance, maintenance activities and circuit turn-up support within the authorized scope. We coordinate field execution with the operator's technical team and the applicable equipment support resources.
Telecommunications High-Voltage PFE Support
Specialized installation and maintenance support for Power Feeding Equipment (PFE) used in submarine telecommunications systems. PFE activities are scoped around equipment-specific requirements, task-appropriate personnel qualifications, site authorization and approved safety procedures. Work boundaries and technical responsibilities are agreed before execution.
Emergency Fiber Restoration & First-Responder Coordination
Field support for urgent fiber incidents, including site coordination, communication of observed conditions and coordination with splicing first responders and the customer's technical team. Restoration activities, crew responsibilities and service-validation requirements are established for the specific location and event.
Experience Across the Landing-Station Environment
Optical equipment does not operate in isolation. R&G also supports the site and facilities requirements around cable landing stations, connecting specialist optical field work with power, cooling, maintenance coordination and operational reporting.
